Leica M9 road show in Austin, who's going?

I'm set for the Leica M9 event in Austin on 13 May 2010.

Any one here going?

Hopefully I will be in austin for the State Track meet. ooops -- just googled, and it would seem to be very geared for people who already own the camera.

No, they'll have loaners and be passing out credits for buying one.

The one a few years ago for the M8 was very good.

"I attended the Roadshow in DC last Friday and felt it was money well spent. There was a Leica photographer on hand and a Leica sales rep. The photographers presentation covered the M9, recommendations for using it and covered set up etc. He also discussed workflow and demoed the new version of Lightroom. There were also 9 M9's that were passed around to follow with the presentation and maybe 15 lenses that could be demoed and tested."

If you go John you can stay a couple days for the Camera mini-convention that is on the 15th+16th, btw what is the info on the Leica roadshow? Where? When? etc.

It is going to be at the Norris Conference Centre where the event on the weekend will be occurring!
Noticed that it is $99 to attend but you do get a credit voucher to use to purchase items from a Leica Dealer.
