I wasn't referring as much to the bokeh as to the slightly "off" look of even the main subject in your example photos. TC95's examples still have distinctive bokeh, but it's less noticeable since the focus is crisper. Collimation will affect that, and it will affect the shape of the bokeh as well; bad enough collimation will give crescents rather than donuts.
