Let the insurer know that you'll give them every opportunity to make this right. And that you appreciate the way they're handling your claim without need of getting into litigation.

Whatever you say to them verbally, follow it up in writting stating the EXACT SAME THING. You will be creating a paper-trail and the insurer knows it. This will "encourage" them to make right.

It's very important not to use the term "attorney" or "lawsuit"... that will just bring in the legal department.

My hart goes out to you, I lived a very similar experience two years ago and know how unsafe we can feel after the incident. I pray that God may restore your confidence and also your equipment.

I'll keep an eye for your stuff in the East/Channelview area.
