Well. Sigma has the same hit or miss rate with their lenses. Yet there are people who are loyal to them, and people who aren't.

Take it back, get new ones. If they work... great! If not, then move on. Or just get your money back and move on.

I like my lightning trigger... I've had it for a lot of years. Both the sensor and the actuator seem to be in good working order. I use my eyes and my finger. The shutter release is a little newer so the jury is still out.

Mine seems to be slowing down a little, might have to invest in one of these some day.
