Yes. But you can use rear-standard movements for stitching. And the large image circles means lots of movement for perpective correction when needed, as well. Plus you get the DSLR advantages of live-view, better high-ISO than MF, etc. If you want a digital view-camera but can't swing a MF back (or don't want one), this approach is a good solution and it offers an upgrade path to MFDB later.

Seems like all the VC makers are getting in on this: Arca-Swiss, Horseman, Cambo, etc.

The camera pictured in the Sinar press release looks pretty bulky though. For me the Arca-Swiss M-Line 2 would be more appealing due to it's size/weight.

That was my thought on the ability to use a DSLR functionally like a LF. The adjustment range of LF would be great. Very interesting to me.
