Canon 5D Mark II LCD monitor auto off?

This maybe a dumb question, but I was wondering if the LCD monitor on the 5D Mark II has an auto off? On my XTI when I put my face up to the viewfinder the monitor would turn off. I figure since you have to push the info button to get the screen to appear that you may just have to push the button to turn it off. It isn't a big deal since I won't prob use it all that much, but was more of a curiosity question.
