It isn't supposed to be better, just more rare.

Does it come with a life time supply of Grey Poupon because it's so rare?

See one soon on ET, slung around the neck of your favorite spoiled rich Hollywood type. I would bet the total number of frames shot by all 500 units combined won't exceed 1000 in our lifetime.

It's a pretty sexy camera for sure. I want one.

My favorite thing about Leica it's it passionate fans, and even more passionate haters.....

Everything is all relative. It is extravagance to most people, but a collectible for the well-heeled with taste. Many of us have overspent on cars and other toys that depreciate. At least, this camera will be worth a lot more in time... better than our paper money! Tri

It's beautiful, they did a nice job on it. A work of art for sure.

It's going to go great with my Veyron!

Actually, it does have one improvement over the regular M9! It has an internal LED that illuminates the proper frame line for what ever lens is attached. Something that will most likely be carried over to the M10 when ever it is released (unless, of course, Leica does something more radical and puts an EVF on the M10).

There is an R-mount to E-mount adapter for the NEX.
