7D settings for sports - 10-24-2010, 09:13 AM

Just got my 7D a couple of days ago and I'm trying to decide what settings I should apply primarily for the AF (understanding that there are no "golden settings"). Its just such a step up from my 40D as far as what it is capable of and how much you can tweak the AF that I don't know if I'm missing out on that little bit of extra oomf you know?
So you other sports shooters, what setup do you have as far as AF point, tracking priority etc?

For sports (and everything else) I use the center focus point, so I know exactly where the camera is focusing. For fast action, I put it in servo. Otherwise, it's usually "one shot." The 7D focus system is pretty good (although for some reason, I still like my older 1D Mark IIn's setup in good light better).
