So I"m on the lookout for a camera for a friend..they want a canon rebel or a similar Nikon....I'm not a Nikon person, but what Nikon would this be???

Renae,
My daughter is also shopping for a camera. She wants a Rebel so she can "use" my lenses on occasion. Buying a Rebel isn't very straightforward either. There are 4 models of the Canon Rebel. List price starts at $550 and ends at $900. Trying to fit features to budget is tricky.
I'll keep an eye on this thread.

Wayne, trying to fit this budget is almost impossible. They are $200 or under...I had a Rebel I could have bought but she didn't reply for several days. Of course it is gone now. It will be interesting if I can find something...
