What Valerie said. I have a fridge full of film and a cabinet full of developer. Push comes to shove, I'll load up on film & chemicals. Worst case, we all go back to wet plate photography. Which is alive and well by the way.
As for navy gear. It may have been "rode hard and put up wet". Know what I mean?
