To me, the 50L matches nicely with the 35L and 85L. So I vote lose the 24-70.
But then again, you should really lose the one you use the least.

The 24-70L
70-24=46 rounds-up to 50.
What, why - who knows, but if you have to have a reason.

yea... im considering dumping the 24-70 but i remember the last time i did that i really regretted doing so once i got back into shooting concerts. so i had to buy it AGAIN! lol.
I wont sell my fishy since i love that lens. I too sold one once and only found myself replacing it once getting back into shows. in fact some of my most favorite non-concert photos are from the fishy.
I still make ditch the 35 and possibly the 24-70. I havent used the 135L in awhile but it is one of my favorites in my bag.

Here is an actual opinion now.
35 L is one of my favorites, but judging by your lineup and you affection for the 24-70, I would say get rid of the 35 and try the 50 for a while. The 50 1.2 is probably one of my most used lenses and I love it to death.

I like the 35L for a basic walk around lens but when im hesitant to shoot someone with if cuz of the lens distortion... just figured the 50L could be a good walk around lens as well PLUS there should be zero distortion..

Abel, I'm thinking the same thing. I want to go all prime and the 24-70L is the first lens on my hit list for selling. It is just too soft.
I want to take advantage of the strength of Canon and that is its primes. I've got the 24L and 135L, so the 50L makes the most sense for me. But thinking about the 85L I or II. Plus, I plan on getting a 45 TS-E this year.
So many tough decisions. So little money!

my concern on the 50L was always that people said it was slow to focus... I didnt notice that at all... it actually performed fairly well...
