I would like to buy a few natural density graduated filters. Lee or the Singh-Ray ones... I am not sure which size I should buy. I would like to use them with my Canon 17-40mm f/4 lens (filter size 77mm) or I can borrow my friends Nikon 14-24mm 2.8g lens.
Which filter size should I buy? The 4x6 is twice as much...
Thanks!

The 14-24 requires a special filter that Lee only makes, as there are no other manufacturer. You could reuse the filters, but the mounting bracket to the 14-24 is specific to that lens.

Singh-ray as well as the LCW Fader ND filters do the same thing and can be used on any standard lens. The Singh-ray/LCW filters are easier to use and carry, as the Lee filter is a kit which adds bulk if you're carrying/traveling.
