I was shooting the 5Dii in the dark last nighrt at ISO 12800 with a 400mm 2.8. It takes great pics, hardly any noise in the dark at 12800. Shooting action shots at 1/100th shutter. Nuts stuff, can't believe that camera.
ukneeq you mention "user error" ... I notice that phrase a lot in 5D threads. Bottom line, the 5D is clunky and slow when compared to the 7D. The 7D can't take the pic the 5D does though.

Yea I have not used the 7D so I have no experience for comparison. I can't speak for others, but what I mean by user error is that I sometimes watch the game instead of trying to capture the shot so I don't aim it right, or that I am following the ball too much instead of the player. Things like that have nothing to do with whether the 5D is clunky or slow, but since you have experience with both I would take your word for it.
