Where can I buy a Background? - 02-24-2011, 08:07 AM

Im looking to buy a Collapsable Background. I would like to find a local shop in Fort Worth or around the area where I can go pick it up.

Looking for a 5 x7 or 6 x 8 something along those sizes to use indoor and outdoors. I would like to find a nice colored background or a clean white one will do too.

Does anyone know of any shops I maybe able to find these at?

Somebody once told me that they have some good stuff to choose from and the fabric would be in the size you'd need. I haven't been to the one near me but checked online and theres a few I want to go get.

Hancock Fabrics when they have a sale, Wherehouse fabrics off Harry Hines in Dallas, Goldenburg Textiles on Harry Hines are a few places to try.
There are a LOT of textile/fabric outlets in Dallas on and off harryhines just south of walnut hill

Go get a Canvas dropcloth from Lowe's or Home Depot. they are basic offwhite and are at least the size you want. They would also have PVC pipe for making a frame to hold it up.

Another good idea. I have one of those myself and heard you can self paint them if you'd like but just haven't gotten that brave yet. Maybe one day I'll give that a shot, at worse I suppose one side would look like crap.

You could also buy canvas from an art supply store and get varying quality.
