May be you could fine some interesting info about it here. I've read Nikon D7000 have a good quility of images and so on, but I'm not sure about how much better is that cam than Canon D7.

What size do you print? My A900 looks a little noisy at ISO800 but NONE of it shows in 16x20 prints.

Go to Arlington camera with a CF card and take some photos in the store. Take the card home and load on to your PC. Do some comparison yourself that way. I think you can rent them from Arlington camera also. Rent them for a weekend and see which one you like for yourself.

I'm guessing that having no time to research would also preclude renting each one for a comprehensive comparison.

You can't go wrong with either IMO.

I shot 45 days with that D7000, I have to say the ISO @ 3200 & 6400 WAS AWESOME, it's hard to compare it with my D700!

I can't say nothing GOODER or BADDER about Canon 7D....

good luck....

So, is the D7000 a better body than the D300s?

ISO in LOW LIGHT, Yes hands down!
The draw back for me on the 7000 is SD but dual cards, I prefer CF!

Angel,

Would you be please post few D7000 pics with ISO 3200 and 6400?

Are you also using in-camera noise removal?
