Exclamation Rental or Borrow A Lens - 05-05-2011, 10:58 AM

I am needing to rent or even borrow a 70-200 (VRI or VRII) or even a 80-200 lens for this Saturday (May 7th).

In the Houston area what would be my best place to look for one? Or is anyone willing to let me borrow one from them? I am willing to pay rental fees for letting me use it.

This would be for a Nikon D300, or if someone has a Sony mount one that would work too!

*I just don't have enough money to go out and purchase one right now.*

Depending on where you are, brad can meet you and hand deliver the goods.

That's the best part about renting from photo rental source for me. Just meet up, grab said lens, go out and shoot!!! No shipping fees. Brad's business is my first stop and if they don't have it, then I look elsewhere.

9 times out of 10 they do.

Thanks everyone for the input!

I went ahead and used Photo Rental Source. I had conversations with Brad over email and met Patrick at their new location off of I-10. Great guys that are willing to go the extra mile to help you get the equipment you need. They were willing to meet me in Katy after work hours to get me the stuff I ordered. I opted to get it from them on my way home. I felt guilty having it the other way honestly. I don't know any other company that is willing to do that for a customer.

Thanks again for help!
