It's okay. I broke even after applying my tax return to the sale money from the XTi. Now I just have to resist buying that 70-200 f4 L. I've got a little extra money sitting around at the moment, and I'm considering getting a 580exII while the rebate is on. We'll see...

What the heck? The 70-200 f4 IS is still $1100. It hasn't shown the rebate.

im renting the 70-200 f4L IS this weekend. i'll buy if i like it. i've seen it for under $1000 with the rebate in effect.

i picked up the 35 f1.4L here locally... my main store also had a tax free sale on canon gear to go with the rebates.

im tax exempt but i still got an additional 8.25% discount on it.. not too shabby.
