I know camera bag, backpack and case configurations are all very subjective... but I need to fit all of my gear into some kind of rolling case for under as inexpensive as possible. Here's the basics of what I've got:

2 DSLR bodies (Nikon D300s/D80), 80-400mm, 28-105mm, 28-70mm, 50mm, 12-24mm lenses, SB-900, a few filters, 10 SD/CF cards, remote shutters and other cables and gadgets, manuals, rain pancho, miscellaneous thing-a-ma-bobs, etc.

I want a sturdy travelling (rolling) solution for under $150.00. Can it be done?

Here are a couple of threads where this very topic was discussed and what some of the solutions were.

Probably not new. Maybe used.

I don't have a link, but I think Pelican makes a hard side rolling case large enough for all that stuff. The padded dividers are the way to with any Pelican case.

how sturdy is a significant qualifier. For years I used a Naneu Pro backpack but it just got too heavy. Everything would fit but lifting it was a pain. I managed to find a rolling backpack at the local outlet mall and use the dividers from the Naneu Pro in that, and it works extremely well; wheels, handle, pockets, etc. Since it was only $50, I can wear it out and replace it every few years and still be ahead. And it doesn't say STEAL ME....

Look at rolling suitcases, backpacks and such and don't get hung up on "camera" -specific stuff. The only concern is that you'll need to configure the innards yourself.
