Cart for equipment recommendation - 06-08-2011, 10:05 AM

I need a recommendation on a cart with the following requirements to haul around my gears for on-location shoots.

I need a cart that will fit the following items.

Bag (3’ H x 2’ W)
Bag (1.5’ H x 1’ W)
Light stands – 2 to 3 stands – 8’ stands
Tripod and/or monopod
22” BD
24” x 24” Softbox – This can be folded down.

•With wheels - durable for flat surface and the ability to roll on a grassy area.
•Foldable so I can store it in the trunk.
•Light weight as possible
•Basket to contain the equipments

Sounds to me like you don't need a cart -- you need a team of bearers.

Seriously, you should attempt to determine the overall dimensions of the load you want the cart to bear. I have a hand truck that works a lot like this one does that I use for carrying assorted kinds of loads. Folds up for pretty easy storage, too.

RocknRoller® Multi-Cart®
I've used one for a few years. It's a great investment.
