I am guessing it is 6 months to a year old. The 60D is also absent, as it the D7000. Pentaxes are a mess.

I know nothing about other cameras and not gonna do the research for this post but what I find interesting is this:
No where on the image to they talk about sensor size. The 1D3 is a 1.3X crop sensor but the viewfinder is 100% coverage horizontal and vertical. However, The Canon 5D2 is a Full frame sensor with a 98% coverage horizontal and Vertical viewfinder. The image looks bigger than the 1D3 but this is only b/c it is a bigger sensor too.
I more accurate comparison would be that of the 5D and the 5D2 where both bodies are full frame sensors. However, the original 5D was only a 96% horizontal and vertical coverage viewfinder where as the 5D2 is 98%.
I don't mean to knock your post I just find it miss leading.

They don't talk about anything on the graphic. It is just the physical size of the viewfinders. I do not see what is misleading about it. It was part of a discussion and is out of context here. Merely a size comparison.

That comparison is interesting and nice to see. What would be even more interesting is if they also included the VF brightness, because that's the other 50% of difference.

Wow, it's quite amazing to see where this little graphic has turned up. This is mine, that I originally made for the people on POTN (photography-on-the.net). You can see the original thread at A comparison of Viewfinder sizes - Canon Digital Photography Forums . If you view that thread it has the Canon 7D in it as well.
When building this comparison, I wanted to show the relative size of viewfinders with the same shot. Each viewfinder takes into account the sensor crop size, the magnification and the crop of the viewfinder. It's been a while since I touched it last, and I need to update it with the latest cameras. I would very much like to incorporate viewfinder brightness, but I have yet to find a source that provides exact measurements across all camera's. Most are subjective statements from posters about relative brightness. Until then, I don't have a reliable way to know, or even show viewfinder brightness.

The world looks even bigger in my Hasselblad H2...
Now where are the 8x10 view camera users to say "only ground glass and upside down" works for them...

I saw it on an A-mount camera forum.
