iPhone 4 SLR Mount lets you shoot 5-megapixel photos with your $3,000 lens -- Engadget

On Engadget now too.

I thought my NEX-5 looked ridiculous with certain lenses on it...

Could you imagine someone at a wedding using this? We'll, I put my 24-70 on my 5D II but I put the 70-200 on my iPhone for extra reach.

Kind of like when one of the guys videoing a wedding was using something that looked like a flip - which he had on a massive old-school video tripod for the ceremony.

I want to see someone use this with something far more silly than a 70-200, like a 1200mm 5.6 or that monstrous Sigma 200-500mm. Something so obnoxiously large that the iPhone looks like a lens cap.

Here's a better idea: send me the $190 and I'll be your friend for at least a week or 2, maybe even longer. That's infinitely more valuable (IMHO)

......
Update: The folks at Photojojo wrote in to let us know that the $190 price provided earlier today was incorrect -- the iPhone 4 mount will actually set you back a cool $249.
