LOL...I walked out of a Store with last years model...in Dec....the Store said they did not need it or want it...and I asked if I could buy it...they just told me to take it.... Neat info. What happened to the 500mm AF mirror lens? I didn't see that in the lineup. I thought that was a fairly neat addition to the lineup. They need more E-mount lenses if the NEX is going to take off. Plus, don't the E-mount lenses work on their new video cameras? Sadly I think the 500 was discontinued, which stinks because it was a very unique lens. These were taken with my Minolta 500 mirror....same lens as the Sony...     For a Fixed F8...lens...it is a keeper...and at the same weight and size as my sigma 24-70you can not beat it... --------------------------- Sigma SD1-M Converted to Nikon F & SD14 One Converted to Nikon F and One Converted to Leica R...... |
