Pentax 67 mirror locking up-any ideas?

I have this old 67 at work that probably hasn't been used in at least a decade, the mirror lock's up at anything slower than 1/60th of a sec. anybody have any ideas. i did check the battery and it's fine

My 6x7 developed a similar problem back in January. One of the mirror return springs had borken. Your camera may just need a good CLA (Clean-Lube-Adjust). In either case, I suggest you take it to Professional Camera Repair on Richmond in Houston.

I opted to send mine to Eric Hendrickson. Eric had the spring I needed and he also had the focusing screen that I had wanted since I bought my first 6x7 in the 70s. It came back working like new.
