Sony E-mount to A-mount SLT adapter?

If true this could be very interesting. Not only would it allow the use of A-mount lenses on an E-mount NEX, but it would also add phase detect AF.

NEX cameras have a a hotshoe? I don't see one on the C3, 3 or 5.
Given the speed that the least common denominator consuming public votes with their cash for things that may or may not be an "improvement", I wouldn't doubt that the dSLR as we know it will disappear too soon. Some self-proclaimed experts are already predicting the demise of the P&S camera. Replaced by phones.

You would think that Sony would have learned by now that when they try to be extremely different, they always shoot themselves in the foot.....

Amen! He said with 28mm, 35mm & 135mm optical finders and an automatic flash waiting for a NEX or NEX clone with a shoe.
