Sony A700 to A77 Lens and camera progression

I found an old picture of the A700 with lenses and thought it would be neat to see the difference in the lens from the A700 to the A77 now so here they are

Interesting. The best one I have is the big silver 70-400G. I wish I could mount it to my Canon 1D4 because it's noticeably sharper than the Canon 100-400L and it's lighter to boot! On the other hand I'd like to be able to mount my Canon 300/4 to my coming in October a77!
