tripod head suggestions

This is a discussion on tripod head suggestions within the Equipment Talk forums, part of the Photography Information category; so i just bought the benro c-058m8 tripod that Abel posted about on the deals section...and now i need help ...

tripod head suggestions - 09-23-2011, 07:30 PM


so i just bought the benro c-058m8 tripod that Abel posted about on the deals section...and now i need help picking a tripod head. i won't be doing much if any panning. mainly portrait and some landscape work. however would like something that is quick to release my camera from the tripod if needed. TIA

I've been using a RRS BH-40 for the past few years and love it. Supports my D-700 with a 70 - 200 with no problems. The quality of their products is unsurpassed by anything I've seen. If your going to use any bigger lenses you might consider the BH-55 . Here is their link :Reallyrightstuff.com.
