I guess... I am confused... wink/smile...
if you understand the exposure process, why do you "need" the histogram...
too confirm what you "already" know... the joy of pushing buttons...
showing the guy shooting beside you, your ego/camera is bigger/better than his...
it is bells and whistles... and shiny things... "we" all like them...
if... you can explain the correct looking histogram in one or two sentences, that will work with every image...
not to me... but, to the novice who is trying to learn about exposure... without confusing them...
then... I will recommend using it...
clipping...
do you allow clipping in your images...
what if the scene dictates clipping... do you not allow, and expose incorrectly...
will the histogram tell when the scene dictates it... or flash/beep... and tell you the scene is wrong...
will the histogram tell you how much...
