Up to you...Ivy...but camera bags are like purses...you just can't have one...!!!

I would go something easy to use and that has some-sort of weather proofing...like a built in rain guard...you never know when a quick shower will happen...

Have fun...!!!

Ivy, does it also double as a backpack?
All of my bags have a built in rain cover.
If yours doesn't then you should carry a large plastic garbage bag - they fold up quite well.
Look at this one and see if you like it better. It's more expensive but may be more functional for you.

Ivy - there are a few 'pretty' camera bags out there - Crumpler makes some, but for the most part, they are very utilitarian. The biggest thing is usage - is it going to hold your gear, and is it comfortable to carry.

I have a big Lowepro Slingshot 300AW that I absolutely loved....until I got a new D700 and an 80-200 lense....then it got really heavy to carry...

Primary issue: Will it hold your gear safely (including wet weather), and is it easy for you to carry/hold/transport?
Secondary issue: How easy can you get into it to get what you need out of it.
Third issue: Is it ugly... ;)

I want to find out who the spammer is, get a job at their favorite restaurant, and then serve them spam, no matter what they order. Then, on the way out to their car, I will fire one of those giant water guns filled with spam puree and soak them head to toe. Then, I will ring their doorbell and run away, leaving behind a flaming bag of spam. Finally, I will have hacked their computer to only show recipes for dishes containing spam.
