Looks better noise-wise than my D200, but who knows how it looks when pixel peeping. Regardless, between here and mu-43, you're turning the internet on its head with this camera's capabilies: the people that were blindly bashing the 1 system are shutting up pretty quickly once these examples are getting posted.

I just wish it was cheaper, my mom bought a NEX-3 this morning at Best Buy for $350!

Thanks!
To be honest, I was also one of "those" with negative views as soon as this product was announced.

But as more data came out, I began to change my perspective - enough to buy into the system & thus far I have no regrets.

Nikon did a couple of things "right" IMHO.....
-The full gamut of advertised lenses available immediately after body release. Something that Sony struggled with.
-Limiting image size to 10mp. This was brilliant much like Nikon did with the D3s by limiting it's output to 12mp

And Expeed 3 seems to be quite good

Both Kirk Tuck and Steve Huff, who have had great words for micro 4/3 cameras, have both had great praise for the Nikon 1 system. These real-world experiences online are very cool to see!

The Visual Science Lab / Kirk Tuck: Nikon 1. Counterintuitive. Crazy. And a whole lot of fun.

I'm about 40% tempted to pick up the Nikon one and get rid of my m4/3 camera. The camera itself is decent, but other m4/3 users are such insufferable dicks. They won't stop badmouthing any other camera system or brand that isn't theirs. I'm getting more and more annoyed to be associated with them.

Plus, it seems that the less they know about photography, and the newer they are to the hobby, the more extreme, nonsensical and immovable their convictions about the hobby are.
