Does anyone know if it is possible to switch the dials to control shutter speed and aperture in manual mode on a Canon 5Dii? Currently the top dial controls shutter speed and the control dial by your thumb controls aperture, but to me the reverse feels more intuitive... Thanks! Anna |

Nope, page 183 of your manual, the custom settings, shows the closest that you can do is reverse the direction that you turn the dials, but not switch the dials themselves. The 7D has this, I believe, but Canon hasn't felt it necessary to retrofit the 5D with it, via firmware updates. Or, maybe they have silently added it; it will be under C. Fn. IV in your menu. |
