The best and expensive Lens ? - 11-18-2011, 12:21 AM

Hi, all guys, recently,i am in trouble, i am looking for a good TLens for my canon , i have no idea in my mind, so i come here and ask for your advice.
I spent more time on it , and seached it ,at last found this one, i looked at its price, it is so expensive.
What do you think about it ? Is it the best? Worth to get it or not ??
Any other options?
Thanks for any suggestion and happy hoilday!

What are you shooting? Without knowing what you are shooting it is impossible to answer that question to any sane degree.

I agree with Garret.

There is no one lens that is the best for all that you do. Every lens has it's high-points for the type of photography you do.

Figure what you take photos of the most and decide on the best lens based on your shooting style and subject of shooting.

Since you live in Orlando, hit your local camera store and try one. The weight at almost two and a half pounds was more than I wanted to tote around. If you do look at one and find it's weight agreeable then as a lens, you can't go wrong with that choice. Also take a look at the Tamron and the Canon black case in that 70-300 range.

Please say what you want to do with this lens, if you want folks to help you. 300mm is a bit short for birds, under many circumstances, for example, so if wild birds happened to be your goal, this would not be a good lens.
