I'm curious if anyone has gotten their hands on a copy.

Just reading a comparison between the Nikon 35mm 1.4G it looks more promising as it's a 1100 cheaper alternative.

I have the 8mm and just got the 14mm, but no 35.

groovyone - I heard they loosened the focusing ring on the 35mm. The only things I did not like on the 85 was the stiff focusing ring, and no AF confirmation.
