I'm seriously considering buying one very soon, possibly today. However I've read something about firmware issues. Can anybody enlighten me about it? What is it all about and how much of an issue is it for you?

And, I hope I'm not asking too much, could someone please be so kind to take an indoor picture on a tripod and send me the raw file?
I'd like to see an image at ISO 3200, f/4, aperture priority, no flash, ambient light only.

Really, "Like they had during WWI" you really need to study the history of photography, professional photographers did not get into zooms until after 2000 and the digital age. I only used 35 and zooms when shooting my fun personal photography. Zooms were not even of quality until the late 70's or early 80's, and 35 was only used in news and sports type work. Those of us that were doing portraits, weddings and events had to use medium format to be able to do the enlarged prints, and in the commercial work, most agencies required 2 1/4 and up to 8x10 format, I know, I was there LOL.
You must give us "OLD" photographers a break!
Just saying,
Wayne

After spending a weekend with this camera, I must say I am in love. So much fun to use.

I made a thread in the bag section, but not sure if many people venture over there.

Does anyone have any experience with the BlackRapid SnapR cases?
