To those with experience in sandy/windy conditions such as Death Valley, does the 16-35 VR offer enough dust sealing on a D3s to offer a reasonable amount of protection? I'd rather add this lens to my arsenal vs the 14-24 due to its versatility over the latter, but I do a lot of outdoor lifestyle photography and exposure to the elements is a concern. The same concern goes for the big hunk of exposed glass on the 14-24. Thoughts?
