Interesting.

Before, the D3 would have been the more professional commercial studio camera.
But now it looks like that might be the D800 rather than the D4.
Noise isn't an issue in the studio and the D800 will have the higher pixel count.

Impressive if the XQD card part is true since the CF group just announced it a week ago or so, not that they haven't been working with the camera manufacturers prior to that.

Very interesting. I'm hoping with the biggest glass full I can that the D700 and D3 used/refurb'd prices will come down.

Nice. I didn't realize that they were pushing it out this early. Wonder when all of the new Cameras will hit the market.

Priced at 5000 euros according to the French release. That's about $6500.

D3s replacement, this is priced at 6k, practically at the D3s price point.

D800 is expected to be the megapixel beast in a smaller body, ie 5d2
