It takes my iPad just too darn long to watch YouTubes, but I got to reason #1, and agree with that one. I reckon I probably agree with the other four reasons, too, as I/We have a total of four 50mm Nikkor and Canon lenses; 1.8 and 1.2 of each brand. Well, the Canon 1.2L is not exactly light, but for an L lens, it is quite compact.

Well, reason #2 finally started playing, and I fully agree with that one, too, for both cropped-frame-sensor and 35mm. I could fully enjoy the hobbyist/enthusiast side of photography with just a 50mm, if I had to do so. (At work, I tend to mostly use a 35L and a 100mm Macro L.)

Thanks for posting the link! I enjoyed the part I have seen. Time to shut it down and get ready for work...
