Hopefully, their will be some interesting review soon on the F mount adapter.

I am looking forward to breathing life into my old 55 3.5 micro & 105/f4 micro as well as my 35/2 (for portraits)

If I think I would need longer than 300mm focal length when hiking I could toss in my bag my old (non-vr) 70-300 for a 189-810mm equiv.

Cool that my old lenses get a 2nd chance at life :)

I am hoping that the lenses will handle the crop resolving power from the center of the glass.

Interesting! Whether or not we purchase a V1 is largely dependent on reviews of how this adapter works for other folks.

I'm hoping like silly that Kenko reverse engineers this and comes out with their own adapter because this thing is super overpriced.... just like the V1. I'll be waiting for this to hit the used shelves (along with the V1) if Kenko can't come up with an adapter.

I get to start playing with my v1 in a week. I will post some comments then.

Someone on FM forums bought it and my God I want it even more!

I was excited by the V1 and I don't even care about the lack of manual controls but the price on everything for it needs to come WAY down before I can even consider buying it.

any ideas why the 70-200 VR1 is not listed as supported? just limited functionality, maybe?

hoping i see some reviews on these lenses with the FT1:

35/2
70-300 ED
55/3.5 Micro
105/4 Micro

I assume the 300/4 would be fantastic. but am looking for reuse of older small lenses.

Bumping this back to the first page.

Upon my learning that the V1 uses same battery and charger as my wife's D7000, this little camera has become even more interesting. Has anyone here on Pixtus used the FT1 on the V1 yet?

I have a similar adapter for my NEX that adds A-mount capability and I really like it. There are actually 2 (and I have both). One is like this Nikon one, works with SSM lenses still CDAF but allows full aperture control on all A-mount, and the new one actually adds phase detect AF and even screw drive.

Both are great at times to use some of that nicer fast glass, even on the compact bodies.
