V1 with the 30-110 - 01-02-2012, 08:37 PM


Please find a few photos i snagged at the FW Zoo today. I know several are interested in how this camera does...

I find if time is taken to nail focus point & DOF it does nicely.

All where shot auto iso, handheld, A-mode. No noise reduction done in post. Exposure tweaked a bit off the RAW.

Thoughts?

Good images! Thanks for sharing!

The V1 is growing on me! It uses the same battery and charger as my wife's D7000, which is a logistical plus. If it will meter with AF-D and AI Nikkors, via the FT1 adapter, and let me manually focus with the focusing ring, that will be another logistical plus. (We don't yet have any AF-S or G lenses.)
