Estate Sale finds - 01-07-2012, 04:23 PM

I bought a "like new" Nikon FE2, with original box, instruction manual, leather case and 50mm f1.8 Series E lenz. $100.00.
also a Nikon AF teleconverter TC-16A $5.00
And a Nikon 52mm polorizer in the leather case $5.00
And an extension tube $5.00
Also got a new (used) canvas camera bag for $5.00
Four Nikon colored 52mm filters .50 each
And a Soligar reverser ring for Nikon (not sure what to do with it!) for 2.00

A good day at the estate sale! Place was packed. I would have bought more, but people were in my way I went back this afternoon, but stuff was picked over.

I found the original receipt and warranty in the box. This stuff is still in new condition; no scratches, rips, tears, fading ,etc.. Dude must have kept it stored in the box in the closet since 1982. The leather cover is in pristine shape!

Now I need some filmz....

Will you marry me? Any woman who can shop like that is definitely a keeper!

Oh...wait. I'm already married. Sorry.

Sounds like you got a heck of a deal. Congrats

It lets you attach your lens to the camera in reverse which allows you to do macro photography with normal lens.

Today at another sale, I got a Nikon SB-24 speed light. Only 20 bucks!
Now I have a nice film set-up. I bought some film on the way home.

I stood in line for an hour to be first in the door then another 30 minutes to pay. What a crowd! Estate sales are FUN!!!!!!
