L lenses introduced after a certain date have indeed all been weather-sealed. I do not remember when that change was made.

Yeah some are and some aren't weather sealed. Also some require a filter to be weather sealed.

That being said on Digitalrev tv, that Kai dude poured water all over his 24-70. It was a little crazy.
