The lenses mentioned in the rumors have my interest, more so than the 5D3 itself! I love my 35L, but would appreciate the weather-sealing likely to be featured in a II. The current 24-70/2.8 has been on my short list for a while, and it will be interesting to see how a II will differ. Meanwhile, I am having fun playing with my newly-acquired, quite clean, pre-owned 5D1! The 5D3 rumors seemed to have depressed the 5D1 prices, a good thing for me. Life is good! This does not mean I am indifferent to the 5D3, or whatever it may be named. Sometime in latter half of 2013 is the target date for my purchase of a new full-frame camera, so I can be patient. |
