When you research a lens look for the filter diameter. There are common sizes like 52mm, 62mm, and 77mm.

I could be wrong, but those look like a bunch of paper weights to me. Stick with brands you have heard of and the advice you got earlier.

I haven't heard of any brands of filters so it makes it hard to know what is okay. I've been trying to judge by the reviews of people on Amazon. I.E. over 4 stars and at least 30+ reviewers in most cases. I also read those reviews if I'm seriously considering.

What are general brands for equipment that are good to consider and what are brands to absolutely stay away from (except no name which I'm assuming is a no no)?

I gave you the name of two good brands earlier in this thread. Hoya and Tiffen.
