Looks interesting.. to bad for people who start off from scratch has to buy a composer or something in order to use this...

Yeah, I've never been too into the look of any Lensbaby photos I've seen though I should note that the sample images on the DP Review link in the OP look better than most. The bokeh usually has this ugly smeared look to it though that is not pleasing at all. Different strokes for different folks but I lost any desire I had to buy one once I started seeing the images that come from them.
