Reflector Advice - 02-11-2006, 02:12 PM

I'm going to be doing some outdoor portriats soon and wanted some info on where to start for reflectors. Any recommended brands, types, colors? I know almost nothing about this type of equipement, so any advice would be welcomed.

I've heard of some 6-in-1 reflectors -- are they any good?

Thanks!

i have an SP Studio Systems 5-in-1. Gold, white, translucent, black, and silver.
It's round and pops open/folds down just like those car window reflectors. I have a boom with clips that attaches to a light stand to hold it.

I picked up some from a place on the e-Bay - just don't get desperate. I got a large (five foot one) for like $15. I did a search on "5 in 1 reflector" and couldn't find the same seller, but here's one similar to what I got: http://cgi.ebay.com/JUMBO-43-X-71-Mu...QQcmdZViewItem

Thanks everyone. I may look into one of the 20" or 32" reflectors from one of those sellers.
