Serious question, not trying to be a smartass, but is this considered advertising? Especially since you work there? Just curious. I love my 20". Dell is great unless you have to call customer service. I usually get transfered to the wrong department 6 or 7 times and when they say wait time is around 5 minutes its usually a couple hour phone call. My new XPS gets the job done though!

I agree, this is advertising since Daniel works for Dell.

If he were making a commission or profit on each sale, then it would be considered advertising, but he is just posting info.....no harm no foul....

Or it could be thought as insider news being given to us.

I don't know who posted the last BH show code, but it saved me about 200.00 on my order. So thanks. It's nice to hear about codes/sales as I don't have time to look for them.

If h00kemh0rns only posted a few times then maybe this might be considered advertising. However due to the large number of threads provided by him I would take it as he is just be helpful.

But that my thought on the matter

Just to set the record straight I'm an I/T professional that works for Dell. So, I don't make nor can I make a commission off of this. The deal in question is freely available to anyone without a coupon. I happened upon it while looking for a couple flat panels last night.

And yes I am just trying to be helpful to the forum as I know Flat Pannels are usually a highly requested item.

I've had my 2005FPW for about 2 weeks now and I love it. The only problem is that I don't have one at work as well. :)

how do the 2005FPW's compare to the 1905FP's clarity wise.

we will be running them in dual monitor setup on CAD stations.. in fact I just checked and our order shipped this morning.

might have to call and see what I can work out on getting the 20" widescreens instead

Night and day honestly. The 2005fpw is a different product line/build. In fact is shares the LG Philips panel. I would cancel the order or refuse delivery then order the 20005fpw.

Good read:
