That really hurts considering my 30d is enroute, ordered Friday from B&H, although part of the discount would've been eaten up by sales tax. Dell needs to move out of state.

Yeah, a lot of the Dell deals don't end up being that hot after you throw in sales tax here in Texas. Plus dell usually likes to take their sweet time to ship. And the final icing on the cake is when you have to call Dell's customer service if something is wrong or you need to return / rma something. Their customer service alone is what turns me away most of the time and to do business elsewhere.

Even if I bought from Dell, I'd likely still buy the Mack warranty just based on some of the raves from several posters on this and other forums.

Yeah, I was looking at Dell (and onecall) for a while, waiting for another deal on the 5D. Then I remembered sales tax here in Texas. I ordered my 10D from Dell when I lived in Alaska (no sales tax) and got a good deal that way. But now that I live in Texas, I gave up and ordered from B&H instead this time.
