Okay, I don't know if I can explain this properly but I will give it a try. I have a Nikon D50 and use the 50 1.4 as my main lens. I've noticed here in the last couple of months I've been having problems with my shutter. I will use my back button focus, lock in my subject and then go to press the shutter and nothing. I will do it again and again and nothing. Then if I give it a minute press the shutter again, it fires. It happens in any setting that I use, manual, aperture priority, even in automatic. At first I thought it might be the lens or something but I switched out lenses and still have the same problem. I used my girlfriends D50 the other day and didn't have one problem out of it. Can anyone help me understand why this might be happening? I called Nikon but basically they told me just to send it in. |
