memory cards - 01-18-2007, 08:18 PM

I use sandisk extreme III 2gb cards.
I am wondering if anyone uses either Kingston or RiData cards? I have seen them for around 35.00 each and was wondering if any one has used them and if they are reliable. I did notice that the Kingston cards have a lifetime garauntee, but I didn't see anything on the RiData cards.

thanks all

I have a Kingston 1GB Pro card and it has worked flawlessly. Have used it for about 2 years now.

I use Kingston CF cards a lot. I have two 4 gig, one 2 gig, and two 1 gig. They have all functioned perfectly. I have heard nothing but good reviews on RiData, but I personally have not used one.

thanks.
I am just looking for a less expensive cards, but I don't want to have to worry about them. I can get two kingston 2GB 120x cards for less than the price of one sandisk 2GB extreme III. I have noticed the operating temp is much wider on the sandisk cards however.

I've used nothing but Kingston for about 1 1/2 years now. All 2GB capacity and I just got two 4GB in today ($14 each after rebate!)

well I am leaning towards ordering a 2gb card. I figure for the price it is worth trying out and it does have a lifetime warranty

I would be interested in knowing where you found that deal if you would be so kind as to share. That beats the deal at Imaging USA. $95.95 with a $ 50.00 rebate.

Just surf the sites!

Try www.newegg.com they have a sales page and have some of the better prices on the web. Another great source is www.amazon.com. Type in the search bar what it is you are searching for and Amazon will usually find the best deal. www.outpost.com has some pretty good deals from time to time. One more website you should browse is www.pricewatch.com. Only thing I would advise is you research most of the websites before you make any purchase. You can use www.resellerratings.com to read reviews of online sellers.

You can always keep an eye on www.spoofee.com. This website posts good deal on the net found by their members. About 95% of the time their deal good. I've spent way too much money because of Spoofee.
