My camera tends to stay in my car or with me, I used to be leave it in the car a lot more than I do now but I'm too worried it will get jacked now. I'm at the point where I would like to figure out a set up that i can keep with me all the time but I haven't decided yet.

Always Have Camera - 02-19-2007, 01:00 AM

I carry mine ALMOST all the time. I have missed some shots by not having it with me.

If you worry about it being stolen then like I did in the film days I carried an Olympus XA all the time. Now one of the smaller digitals would work. Then purposely carry the "main" camera on special occasions.

OR go on ebay and find a good quality "I don't mind if this one is stolen" camera and leave your main camera at home most of the time. Of course someone could break into your place and steal your main camera.

Ok! Bottom line is good shots don't come along without some risk. The greater the risk the greater the possibility of a great shot.

Bite the bullet and take it with you.

Mine always stays in the car, or the truck when I am at work, I don't think it ever comes inside the house unless I use it in here.
Knock on wood, I have never had my car broken into, but the house has been once and they cleaned me out, glad my cameras were in the car then.
