What manufacturer and size do you need?

My first stop is at this location: http://www.mydigitaldiscount.com/

Then I check pricegrabber for the type of card I'm after to compare prices. http://www.pricegrabber.com/search_a...id=152/vendors[]=SUD

if you are not dedicated to a particular brand, I have had real good results with transcend.

I own one of their flash cards, and have their computer memory in two of my computers.

I was surprised at how inexpensive memory had gotten.

I just purchased four 4GB cards today from newegg. 45 per card, with 2nd day, came out to 198 and change.

They have their 8GB cards for 80 and change.

Pardon the info if you are already familiar with it, but I have always been very happy with newegg, (http://www.newegg.com )so I rarely even look anywhere else. Back before I started using them, I had price shopped all over the place, and they were among the best prices. Their reputation as an online retailer is very good as well. It is the same reason that I have pretty much stopped looking anywhere else but B&H. I am happy with them, and have seen plenty of evidence that they are going to be near the bottom price you can find, so I stick with them.

Hey Mike,

Look at the Ridata 150x Pro series. They are on right up there speed wise with the over hype SanDisk Extreme III & IV for a fraction of the cost. Just as solid for reliability too.

Greg and I own three of four of the Ridata cards pointed out by Sonny. The 150x work really well in our D200s. They might even work in a Canon

Seriously. Newegg has great deals and those cards rock in the $/performance/reliability measures. YMMV.

Adorama has a Lexar 133x 8GB card for $50 after a $70 MIR. I ordered one this afternoon. I can't believe they're selling this card for this price but I'll be happy to take them up on it.

Adorama has a special on Lexar 8GB and 4GB 133x CF Cards that's probably too good to pass on.

The 8GB has a $70 rebate and the 4GB has a $30 rebate. I paid a total of $126 shipped for the 8GB. Minus the $70 rebate should work out to $56 - probably the lowest you can go for a Lexar Pro 8GB card

The 4GB works out to around $75 - $30 = $45 + $6.95 shipping. Another sweet deal.
